Month: September, 2016
Monday, September 26, 2016
The Safety KidZ Club is off and rolling with over 2300 students participating. You have your passports and stickers, are registered on the website, and are ready to get started. Here's how you begin!!
1. Travel Guide
Go to the Program Materials section of each calendar page. Read and/or download the first two documents. This is your suggested guide for the month - with Safety Challenge activities, a Pledge and suggested lesson plans - one for each week. This guide is a suggestion only -- you can change the challenge activities or use any of the other activities listed for that month.
2. Passports and Stickers
You should have received one passport and one set of passport stickers for each student. Once you have covered that safety topic, students may add that sticker to their passport and write what they learned for that particular topic.
3. Other Materials
Each Safety Calendar page has the following supplemental materials - Safety Rule Poster; Pre and Post Tests, a self assessment and many more activities other than those listed on the Travel Guide.
